Empowering Users To Launch A New Brand Of Healthcare
With 500 board-certified or board-eligible physicians, 70 locations across the state and nearly 23,000 employees, the organization is dedicated to providing preeminent care throughout Indiana and beyond.
The Challenge
IU Health used to be called Clarian Health – and when the organization set out to transition their brand from Clarian Health to the new Indiana University Health brand, communicating this change to employees and partners proved to be a large task. There was no single internal resource available to facilitate the re-branding initiative or to coordinate its communication among employees and partners.
The organization decided to launch an internal Web site to assist in the communication of the re-branding effort. IU Health, and their partner HY Connect chose Hippo CMS to be the content management solution for this new web site.
The challenges included:
- Limited IT Resources - In order to facilitate new content and the new education for the re-branding effort – IU needed a system that would be easy for end-users to utilize.
- Workflow Capabilities - New approval processes and workflows for content related to the re-branding effort were needed in order to maintain a level of content quality.
- New functions for requesting collateral material - As one of the core, new functions of this web site, a new form was created so that business users could request new collateral material reflecting the new messaging.
The solution
The implementation of Hippo CMS by CITYTECH meant that users can rapidly update site content without the need for IT resources. Additionally, Hippo’s workflow and approval-control features were key benefits for IU Health. Hippo’s CMS and Context Aware Engine provide for “form wizards” and this streamlines the creation of new collateral requests on the Web site.
Results
- Content editors across the organization can now create content easily and efficiently. The re-branding has been a tremendous success.
- The intranet remains fresh and reflects the new brand standards set forth. The functionality of both the CMS and the Intranet delivered by Hippo CMS reflect the dependability of the new brand.
- The workflow and approval processes provide IU Health with just the governance they need in order to maintain quality.
