Supported browsers
Make sure that you use a supported browser. Hippo works fine under:- Chrome 23 (Window, Mac, Linux)
- Firefox 16 and higher (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Internet Explorer 8 and higher (Windows)
- Safari 5 (Windows, Mac)
Demo installation restrictions
The demo installation is restored from a backup every 30 minutes. It can thus happen that you will not see the changes you just made, because they have been overwritten. Also, the demo will not be available for roughly 30 seconds during restore.
Please do not upload large files - this is a demonstration installation, not a server farm. If you want to test the limits of the system, download Hippo CMS and install it on your own machine.
Deleting your account will make the account unaccessible. That is also true for the admin account.
It has happened that the demo accounts have been deleted. In that case, peruse this site, subscribe to the news-letter, download your own version or have some tea until the demo is restored. If the demo is unavailable for a prolonged period (several hours), please contact us.
