Aedes - association of housing corporations
Aedes is the association of housing corporations in The Netherlands. Aedes has over 500 members, that are responsible for the quality of living of 2,4 million households. Since 2006 Aedes uses Hippo CMS for the internal and external communication by a integrated intranet, extranet and website.
With the Internet site the employees of Aedes can access all relevant information concerning their daily work. A diversity of legacy applications such as the membership database is accessible.
For members of Aedes, information is personalized and available on the Internet.
All content is authorized in different levels (single source publishing), so with minimal effort the information for different target groups is maintained.
The principle of Guided Navigation is used for navigating the website. This way the information in this website can be accessed from different angles (instead of a predefined site menu). The selection of results is reduced while navigating and will always lead to a result page; this appears to be more efficient compared to search modules in general.
