The municipal of Schijndel has set its goal to provide all inhabitants of Schijndel with a one-stop-counter. Information and transactions should be available, independent of time, place and date, from the year 2010.

Main starting points:

  • “put the customer in the center point”: split the processes of front- and back office activities;
  • “Work Digital”: create one source for multiple use and deliver through one central virtual counter;
  • “Include all work”.

The municipal of Schijndel preferred to work with open source software and was looking for a company that was able to support that. The CMS had to integrate with a diversity of systems like DigiD (digital ID) and Corsa (including mp3 storage of council meetings).

Amount of units and functional use:
The Hippo CMS is now used by several editors on a daily bases.

January 2005 - December 2006
